About Me

Hello future dancer! My name is Josephine, and I am coming to you with 15 years of ballroom dance training and over 7 years of teaching experience! I started my professional ballroom career in college, where I taught professionally for two years, participating in local events such as Dancing with the Local Stars, and even being elected as the President of the Michigan State University Ballroom Dance Team. After graduating from university, I relocated to Minneapolis to further my professional dance career. I taught professionally at a large competitive studio for several years, while also dancing professionally in the American Smooth category.

 

Deciding to trade the snow for sun, I moved down to Fort Myers, Florida to continue teaching and dancing professionally for 3 years! Following this period, I moved back up to my hometown state of Michigan and I currently compete professionally, while focusing on my teaching career, here in the Metro-Detroit Area. I have been so grateful for how ballroom dancing has been life changing for me, and I can't wait to meet you and change your life!
